Yes! The facts you mentioned above – like suppression of truth, manipulation, whitewashing, etc – are sadly going on today also. The more you see these things, the more you lose your trust in even so called reputed media and awards like Noble Peace Prize and so on. Only in hindsight most people look back and realize the manipulation and twisting of facts, the way our generation is finally starting to about the likes of Churchill. We can only hope for the better future where we can detect these lies and manipulations sooner, and fight back with genuine debates, arguments and facts.
